Robin Wasteney
Creative Director
Robin Wasteney is one of Project7 Design’s Creative Directors. A southwest Iowa native, Robin attended the College of Design at Iowa State University for Graphic Design. She has been working in design and marketing in Des Moines for more than 20 years. After years of being a self-proclaimed p7 fan girl, Robin joined the team to help bring the studio’s logos, campaigns and more to life.
As a Creative Director, Robin gets to touch a little bit of everything. She collaborates with the team to develop and maintain overall planning and strategies for our clients, including their branding, social media, marketing campaigns and any other needs they may have. Planning and art directing photo and video shoots for campaigns and general design needs is an exciting part of some days. Day to day Robin stays busy with logo designs, campaign elements, web sites, print, and reviewing and proofing all of the above.
When she’s not at the office, Robin teaches and practices yoga regularly. She also loves to hike as often as possible (Lake Acquabi, Browns Woods and Ledges State Park are some of her favorite local spots). In the summer, she also enjoys bike riding, running, and gardening. In the winter, you can find Robin reading, binge watching whatever show she missed the boat on three years ago, or watching a favorite ’80s movie for the 437th time.
