By law, your website must provide information about the data your site collects in a privacy policy that includes: a description of the type of personal information you collect, how you use and share that data, and how users can control their data; disclosure of the use of any third-party services; and information for website users of whether and how they are being tracked.
You can either provide these policies with your website content, or use a third party website to create and host them and provide us with the link (recommended if you don’t have a legal department).
P7 recommends Termly.com as an easy to use privacy and cookie policy generator. Their auto policy generator is easy to use by answering a few questions. The one time fee averages around $100 depending on the information you collect. The site will host your policy for you, making it easy to update and transfer. You simply provide us the link and we drop it into your footer. Other disclosures you may want to consider are terms of use, terms and conditions, shipping policies, and return policies.
Your website may also need to meet requirements regarding ADA accessibility, ecommerce, copyright, plagiarism, and anti-spam laws. Certain industries may have further requirements for health, legal, and financial matters. We recommend reaching out to legal counsel to make sure you're in compliance within your industry.

Under the GDPR, EU Cookie Law, CCPA, and CPRA, you are also legally required to inform users of how you use the cookies you collect. P7 uses a plugin that generates a popup when a new user visits your site, asking them to opt in or out of cookies. Please note, users can opt out of being tracked, which can affect your ability to fully track traffic through Google Analytics.
Unless you specify otherwise, P7 will use a standard cookie plugin with the following verbiage:
"Our website uses cookies from third party services to improve your browsing experience. Read more about this and how you can control cookies by clicking 'Privacy Preferences."
